The Foundation for Awarenessness is a faux-charitable
organization (or faurg). This
conceptual art project deals with ideas of conscience and consciousness (with a
subtext of not taking any of it too seriously) and manifests itself in various
forms ranging from public performance to handmade signage and promotional items
to traditional outreach and marketing strategies commonly employed by
non-profit charitable organizations.
